Insurance
I am in network with Aetna in FL. If you wish to use your insurance for your therapy, let me know and I will make sure your therapy is approved before we begin.
I am also in network with United, Optum, and Oscar in FL but am not able to accept clients with these insurances at this time. If you have one of these insurance plans, I could see you for private pay but not using out of network benefits.
I am an "out of network" therapist for other insurances in FL. This is not a bad thing, as not working with insurance enables me to be more flexible to meet your therapy needs. Your insurance may reimburse you for some of your session fees. Call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about out-of-network mental health coverage.
Questions to ask include:
-
What is the reimbursement rate for an out-of-network (OON) provider?
-
Do I need a referral from my primary care physician for mental health services to be covered?
-
How many outpatient mental health sessions are covered per calendar year?
-
What is my deductible and has it been met?
I will provide you with monthly super-bills that will include all of the necessary information for your claims to be processed.
Payment Policy
Most clients elect to keep a card on file with my HIPPA-compliant practice manager, which is charged at midnight the evening of the appointment.
Other payment methods may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation Policy
I will reserve your scheduled session time especially for you! Therefore, I ask that you give me 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations, late re-schedules, and no-shows will be charged the full cost of the session unless it is a rare emergency situation. If you are using your insurance, you will be responsible for the full session cost, not just your copay.
